Most kids just wear a pair of sweat pants or shorts (weather dependent) for practices.
If your child is playing in the older divisions you need to provide a baseball glove, and cleats (again optional). Males are required to wear a cup when they are catching. All players will probably catch at some point during the season.

The league will provide hats, game uniforms, catching equipment, bats and balls for all players and teams.
How often will my child's team practice?
The team manager will set the practice schedule for the team. T-
Older kids may practice 2 or 3 times a week, again depending on the availability of fields and time.
The practice schedule is set by the manager and he/she will contact all parents and players as the season gets closer.
How often will my child's team play?
T-
Minor League Divisions usually play one Saturday game and one game during the week at 6:00. More information will be available from your team manager as well as posted on the web when schedules are finished.
Where do we play our games?
All games will be played at the Delaware Twp, ball fields. These fields are off of Wilson Hill Road. Check back later for a detailed map with driving instructions
How long are the games?
Usually the games run from an hour and a half to two hours.
How long is the season?
The season runs from Mid April until early June. More permanent dates will be posted as soon as possible
How can I get involved?
We are always looking for new people to get involved and make a difference in the lives of our children. If you are interested email us at info@ddlittleleague.net.
Why did registration fees go up this year so much?
There are a considerable number of factors that required us to raise the cost. The cost of equipment has gone up significantly, the increases in insurance as well as charter fees paid to little league, umpires and most significantly, field usage fees which has seen increases more than double in the last few years. These coupled with the sheer numbers of children that we afford the opportunity to play requires a great deal of resources.
The league does depend on alternative streams of revenue to supplement registration fees in running of the league; unfortunately due to tough economic conditions, local sponsorship has become harder to obtain. Couple that with the fact that is has become increasingly harder to get parents to sell raffle tickets and participate in other fundraiser's, the only and last alternative is to raise fees to guarantee that there is a league.
It is the last thing that we ever wanted to do was raise fees, unfortunately given the afore mentioned facts , it was necessary to raise fees more then we wanted to ensure the short and long term health of the League. We are constantly looking for other streams of funding so that hopefully, this increase will offset any need for significant increases in the future.
